You know when you’re about to cook something, say steaks or a pot roast, and you just can not remember what temperature medium is?
What? You do remember those types of things. Well then, this section may not be for you. You can head on back to the recipes and look at the pretty pictures some more (no snarly comments about me flattering myself by calling the pictures pretty, I know that I’m flattering myself).
Any way, back to references. Here’s a list of the kind of things you’ll find here as soon as I post them. Which won’t be for a little while because I have got a CRAP LOAD of recipes to get posted first.
Things you’ll find in references:
- cooking temperatures and times
- cuts of meat (by the animal, I’ve started on the illustrations for these)
- pictures of cuts of meat (because I consider myself a visual person, or because my grocery store never uses the same name as the cookbooks)
- different types of cuts for veggies, etc
- cooking staples
I’m sure that there will end up being a million other things, because we’ll cross those bridges as we get to them.
For now though, I recommended heading back over to the recipes or life…they’re the only sections really functioning at this point.
