I keep telling Bo about my beach goals. I know what you’re thinking “OMG, summer’s almost here, gotta get into that bikini!!! Sorry, not quite – at least not for me. I’ve got long term goals, 5 months, and then 10 months, away from now. Eating smart, not hard, is my recipe (along with some fun gym time).
Five months from now I’m taking the kids on vacation by myself because Bo can’t take the vacation time this year… because… 10 months from now we’re planning on using that extra vacation time to go on a 10 year anniversary vacation.
So beach goals for me means getting in the kind of shape that lets me keep up with the kids at Disney next November… and then laying by the pool sipping every tropical drink they offer next March (did I mention that second vacation will be KID FREE!).

Every Eat Smart salad kit is a blend of six or more superfoods, as if that wasn’t good enough though – now you can keep your eye out for the “No Artificial: Colors, Flavors, or Preservatives” Label currently on the Sweet Kale, Strawberry Harvest (my favorite), and Sunflower Kale salad. They make it super easy for me to get something on the table that I can have faith and confidence in.

Seriously! Every Eat Smart product you buy will be free from high fructose corn syrup, artificial preservatives, hydrogenated fats, as well as artificial colors, flavors, and sweeteners by the end of next year. This means so much to me, because reading nutrition labels has become second nature since Bo’s diagnoses, and it makes me feel a lot better knowing that I’m not pumping the kids full of sugars and sweeteners that aren’t necessary.
Now, ready to see how I spend my afternoons? I walk to the fridge and take out an Eat Smart Shake Ups.
