This is really a piece of cake dessert. It’s easiest made a day ahead, but even the morning of will work. It’s not actually oreos either. It’s just chocolate wafer cookies with cool-whip sandwiched between them and “iced” over the top. I didn’t take make pictures because it’s really easy to do.
First off, spread about a tablespoon of cool-whip on one side of each wafer and stack in groups of six (just to make it easier to handle). Then lay them all together on top of plastic wrap in two even rows, with a cookie on each end. gently push them together, just to squish most of the cool-whip evenly between the cookies.
This is what it’ll look like. You’re not searching for perfection here, just ease. Now you just wrap it up in the plastic wrap and stick it in the freezer, over night, or at least until the cool-whip is frozen solid. Put the remaining cool-whip back in the fridge.
Next up, take the frozen log out of the freezer and “ice” it with the leftover cool-whip just before serving. If there are any leftovers you can re-wrap it and but it back in the freezer. I don’t know how long it’ll keep though, it’s always gone in a couple of days.
Here’s your printable (though you probably don’t need it):
