Strange title, I know, but I’m that excited right now. You see, butter’s on sale for $3/lb and my fridge is on it’s last pound from the last sale, so not only is it on sale, but I timed my supply between sales perfectly.
Sometimes it’s the little things you know.
This house is also in dire need of some crayons. My beautiful white kitchen cupboards haven’t been coloured blue is a while, so I figure it’s time. Also, when Oliver and I started working on his letters yesterday I spent 10 minutes searching for crayons to find 1 orange one that was broken in half and dull. I’m not sure there are many things sadder looking then that.
And (see, there’s a lot of good things going on), Oliver’s feeling much better. He was rocking quite the fever last night which, fingers crossed, is gone today. He’s still not eating though, not that this is a new development.
Anna, well, Anna is Anna. She’s adorable, she’s full of smiles, she’s coo-ing and goo-ing and ga-ing non-stop, but mostly she’s eating all.the.damn.time. That girl EATS. But she’s also literally off the charts on her length, so she’s going to be freakishly tall like her Daddy. She’s sleeping right now (why she couldn’t have taken this nap from 4:30 am to 7:30 am though is something I’ll bring up with her later).
Oliver’s busy playing tractor, not eating his waffles, and watching Bolt while I sit beside him. He’s a real multi-tasker for a two year old. Why, when I came back from putting away the last of the laundry this morning he was standing on top of a drum, which was on top of his green chair, because he couldn’t reach the golf club that was behind his toy rack.
He gives me at least one heart attack a day.
How we haven’t been to the hospital yet with a broken bone is a mystery that never ceases to amaze me.
